I mean if Hans didn’t actually cheat this lawsuit is necessary, but I’m not sure why he’s going after Hikaru. Seemed like Hikaru was just one of many commentators commenting (perhaps recklessly) from the sidelines but it’s hard to imagine he colluded with Magnus and Danny R.
Lol, reading the lawsuit now. He probably has a legit point but the filing is cartoonishly provocative. He says that Magnus is “notorious for his inability to cope with defeat”.

Right, but I think it will be very hard to PROVE that Hans and Magnus and Danny all colluded against Hans. Magnus/Danny is more believable because they were making a business deal to have chesscom by Play Magnus, but it seems like Hikaru was just being an immature reactionary streamer whipping up anti-Hans sentiment because he needs streaming material.
I agree. By itself, what Hikaru said seemed relatively innocuous to me. If he crossed a line he also walked it back. The language of the written lawsuit is not exactly neutral. It seems less than professional to call Magnus “gutless” there. Trump has infected everything.

I think Yasser was a bit out of line basically insulting Yu for “falling over the finish line” and saying over and over how bad the play was. It’s 5/4+0. Cut them some slack.
