Barry Bonds was one of the best players in baseball history. Bonds had like twelve seasons better than Rose’s best season. It’s insulting to mention them in the same sentence.

Rose and Bonds both did things that merit keeping them out of the Hall no matter how stellar their on-field performance was.

Bonds was the greatest player of all time. Rose was good and clears the threshold to be a hall of famer. Pete Rose and Barry Bonds should both be in the hall of fame!

Show your work
Rose did something wrong that very few in baseball have done, and most (all) who were caught were banned for life. Bonds did something that thousands of other ballplayers and tens of thousands of other athletes have done for generations.

I don’t think Ty Cobb’s racism was worse in the context of what should make someone ineligible for the Hall.
