Yes, except session musicians aren’t needed these days with electronic tools. I think even Billy Elish did most of her early stuff with her brother and software, at least enough to get signed.
Music artists are gonna be rendered useless once AI music becomes indistinguishable from human made music.
Honestly, I have trouble telling the difference with the newest AI made songs. I actually use AI-produced tracks to help me sleep at night.
It’s really easy too. Just give a few descriptive words of what kind of music you want and AI will spit out a pretty good track in seconds.
Why does George get a quarter share when John and I write 8x the # of songs he writes? Don’t get me started on Ringo.
Wut. We don’t need novel theories for this. It’s already well-known and explained by numerous bands with direct experience of the process.
