I was thinking the same. Fortuitous timing that he got that performance out before the end.

My wife used to work in the same office building as him. She ran into him a few times and said he was as kind as could be. He never knew her name, but they saw each other enough where heād recognize her and give her a big smile. They had chit-chat a couple times in the elevator.
Wife (5-feet tall): You make me feel short!
