GOAT opening monologue.
Nothing much to add; Michael Clayton is desert island material imo. Wilkinsonâs gut-wrenching performance is the perfect foil for the filmâs cold, technical efficiency.
RIP to a real one.
Might need to rewatch it. I saw it. I remember that I liked it. But I have also almost completely forgotten it.
Itâs an incredible film. Pay attention to the seemingly incoherent ranting, it seems like throwaway the first time through. Itâs not.
Maybe just me but I think Michael Clayton makes a great George Clooney double feature with Syriana.
I watch âThe Ghost and the Darknessâ about once a year, mostly because of him.
Also Michael Clayton is by far the most realistic depiction of BigLaw ever done in film.
Daddy Cool is my sonâs first favorite song, so it will always have a place in my heart. It has a near 100% chance to lead to a dance party in this household.
To be honest though, I had not heard of Boney M until this last year.

He was also responsible for that Milli Vanilli charade though.
But Milli Vanilli was awesome.
Boney M wasnât really popular in the US. They never hit the top 10 with any of their songs.
This and, to be clear, I have heard their songs just didnât know the artist.
Obv this was posted in wrong thread.
Ah, weird. Then it makes sense.
Some music just never becomes popular here for some reason.
Youâre from Norway, right? Did you know that A-ha is regarded as a one-hit wonder over here?
