Director William Friedkin, 87, died today after an extremely dangerous car chase under elevated train tracks, followed by a fall down an unusually long flight of stairs.

Rest in power to Chicago’s own Casper, the creator of the world famous Cha Cha Slide. His wife Kim informed me that he lost his battle to cancer today. The Cha Cha slide is one of the most popular line dances in the world. Casper was 58 years old. A true Chicago legend!

Sorry to hear about Robertson’s passing. That means Garth Hudson is the only surviving member of “The Band”. The Last Waltz remains a great movie to watch while stoned.

I always think of this story from Mick Foley’s first book when someone brings up Terry Funk

Mick told Terry about his disappointment after the match and the response was “Oh Cactus, and all this time you just thought I was good.”
