There was a series on French public radio a couple years ago about â10 movies that changed the worldâ where they got into some famous classic movies, and somehow they got Godard to say a few words about each of them to conclude the segments. He was invariably negative (âVertigo ? When I watch it now I only see the weaknessesâ, âthe godfather ? Itâs ok I guessâŚI wouldnât say it changed the worldâŚâ), that was pretty funny.
I absolutely loved Vivre Sa Vie and Breathless when I watched them in a film class. Anna Karina in the former is on my Mt Rushmore
