Bump This Thread Every Time Kyrsten Sinema Is Terrible

I think you have to consciously decide you’re not going to sell out and be vigilant about it. It’s human nature to get pissed off when you see a dipshit like Trent Lott or John Boehner or Chris Dodd waltz into what is effectively a $3 million no show lobbying job. There aren’t direct bribes, it just happens.

To be fair, if Boner is able to teach careerist sociopaths his advanced crocodile tears techniques its probably worth millions to them. Faking humanity is a priceless skill for those folks.

Hope they get fucking rolled in the midterms.

I mean best case scenario after that happens is democrats don’t get a trifecta against for over a decade and we get a completely frozen government that does nothing.

And thats the absolute best case. Most likely Republicans eventually get their own trifecta and all sorts of evil shit happens.

I hate most of the dems too but getting rolled in the midterms means a lot of suffering, and it won’t be people like Cinema and Manchin. They will be doing great hanging out with Mitch and company.

Refusing to play offense after asking everyone to dig deep and give maximum effort on defense causes lots of suffering. It turns out to be a perfect strategy for grifters of the left though. ThE nExT eLeCtIoN iS tHe MoSt ImPoRtAnT oF oUr LiFeTiMeS is the money play I’ve lived through for three decades. You can’t credibly make that claim and let a borderline cosplayer prominently block all of your meaningful legislation. They’ll have the audacity to ask Y U NO TURNOUT? in the midterms while finding a way to blame AOC/Bernie. Losing and suffering are the fair and equilibrium outcomes here.

The light bulb evidence for me is 2009. They had 60 fucking senate seats and did absolutely fucking nothing except pass the GOP health care plan. They simply don’t have the same goals we do, though they’ve gotten better at pretending.

I prefer both get tanked than the reconciliation bill be 1 trillion in spending on shit Cinema and Manchin approve of. It’ll be 1 trillion of bullshit. Tank both and have every Dem that speaks to congress say Cinema and Manchin sinked them both.

The bills are super popular, even with Republicans, so even if they don’t care that much at least they will catch a ton of heat for it.

Hopefully the billionaires funding Cinema are like sorry Cinema, literally the entire party hates your guts so your lobbying will be of no use to use.

She doesn’t care none of them do, they care far more about the $$$ they get from the pharma lobby

Primary every one of these pieces of shit

Sinema ranks as one of Congress’ leading recipients of pharmaceutical industry donations, according to an analysis by [Kaiser Health News]. The Arizona Senator is not the only Democrat expressing concerns with the party’s approach to drug negotiation. A trio of centrist House lawmakers [voted against the] measure in the Energy and Commerce Committee this week and a fourth voted against it in the Ways and Means Committee.

Rep. Kathleen Rice (D-N.Y.) was one of those centrists. In a letter sent to the Alliance for Retired Americans advocacy group two days after the vote, the congresswoman said she supported “the goals” of the Democratic bill to allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices. Unlike her past votes in favor of it, however, Rice wrote, her committee vote was not on a “clean, stand-alone bill.”

“Instead, the H.R. 3 drug pricing language was being used as a tool to offset the cost of a $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill,” Rice wrote in the letter, obtained by POLITICO. “That bill has no chance to become a law, as Democrats in the Senate have stated that a bill with such a price tag will not have the votes to pass in their chamber.”

Nuke Cinema from orbit too.

The fuck

Well the reconciliation bill is definitely dead. We’ll see if the progressives kill the infrastructure bill or if they recut a deal more Republican friendly in the House and work around the progressives. I think its unlikely, but thats the way this is going to go. Obviously if bipartisan passes they arent passing reconciliation and and reconciliation isnt gonna be done anytime soon, so…

It’s going to take a lot to convince me to vote democrat in the midterms.

Think I’ll vote lower taxes instead.
