A while back some herp derper on 2+2 was arguing against climate change and came up with the gem that CO2 is essential for life (coz photosynthesis, yo), so more CO2 must be better. He even kindly explained what photosynthesis was to us.

In my view, Wirelessbro is not deliberately spreading falsehoods. He is not yet capable of seeing through the propaganda and outright lies he repeats as facts.
This is where I end up in disagreement with a few folks. The fact that I believe Wirelessbro is participating in good faith AND YET engages in a manner relatively indistinguishable from people who know better and are repeating propaganda and lies in bad faith. As long as his lies are said in good faith, would you ban him?
No I wouldn’t, but I don’t believe that’s the case, and his cockiness and evasiveness support my opinion.

Meh, these people are beyond redemption if you ask me. He is either acting in bad faith, or he is an abject moron, or both; in any case, engaging him seems to serve little purpose. I realise this line of thinking is a little out of whack with the general spirit of this forum, but then again, I’m not even a “leftist” (despite the rumours on 2+2 lol), so I probably have a little less patience with this sort of arrant brainfuckery than most of the rest of you.
I agree with you. I don’t think he’s a deliberate troll. He’s like thousands and millions of racists across history who think because they carry no deliberate malice toward people of color, they couldn’t possibly be racist.
Compare this say to the brazen GOP strategists describing why they have to change the language of the GOP propaganda if they don’t want people like Wirelessbro to realize he’s been duped into outrageously racist positions. That’s a perma ban.
