Btw, today is my real birthday. It’s not my official birthday because my parents doctored my birth certificate so I could start school early and the doctoring stuck. 53, thanks for asking. How am I celebrating? All alone. I busted my ass today doing solar and didn’t get home in time to join the family for some covid safe event. They did leave me enchiladas, brownie/cookies, and beer though.

I’m content using Czech equivalents of Amazon. Sure it’s a bit more expensive but not much more.
With any luck this Bessemer thing will have been the result of an enormous amount of foul play by Amazon and there will be tons of evidence that’s what it was. That should give the movement to expand unionization rights some more credibility.
This is actually kind of the best outcome. I assure all of you that if that warehouse had unionized it would have been shut down the very next day and absolutely nothing would have changed.

Amazon are such pieces of shit and i dont think i could ever work for that company and sleep ok at night.
Also aws is the single most obnoxious piece of tech i’ve ever worked with.
Meh, failure begets failure and success begets success. Winning the unionization would be a lot better. Hell losing by a hair would be better than getting walloped liked they did.
