I guess the new conspiracy du jour is that he government controlled the hurricane and stopped it in North Carolina to wipe out everyone that lived there so the government could take the land to mine for lithium? Honestly the most depressing part of the current political climate is how it’s not just boomers doing this shit anymore but so many people under 40 have just had their complete brains rotted out.
The boomer memes tend to be a bit more of “things were better in my day when…” and then you insert some vaguely racist or sexist thing.
But some of this unhinged MAGA shit is coming from people younger than me and that’s frightening as hell. The boomers will all be dead in 20 years but the brain rot lives on and might be getting stronger.
With certain kinds of electric cars, you could have run all that electric shit off of your car.

Yeah. Although that reminds me, I was going to buy a camp stove to have as a backup in case of power outages since I wouldn’t want to run an induction stove off of a car. Should probably make that happen before the weather gets worse. Really happy to be free from my old gas stove, but I do concede that power outages happen.
