I submitted the application last night. I currently have $12,800 of federal loans, of which about $8k are eligible for this plan (non FFEL). Looks like my new payment would be $157/month for the next 15 years, but maybe the balance gets forgiven after 10 years? My non federal payments are down to $583/month after making some chunk payoffs. I guess this is better than no change at all, but would have much preferred the original forgiveness plan.
