The bill was stalled when I bet on it. Mitch is not in the 10 yay votes, either. They had four working days to compromise on the remaining issues, write up the remainder, and navigate it through the Senate.

I put money on this so it’s going to be the worst possible outcome. It’s going to be the most minor and ineffective restriction on gun purchases one could imagine that actually counts as a federal restriction on gun purchases, and it’s going to pass at like 11:59pm on 6/30.

Yeah that’s the one, I could but it feels like there’s a greater than 15% chance this thing gets delayed past this week. They’re supposed to go home Friday night, and the vote is Thursday night. Also given that every move I’ve made has gone to shit for a while, I think I’d rather just lose the last 15% of my money than bail and watch my original side win for 6.6 times more money.
