Man these people were absolutely convinced they were going to win money betting on Trump. I mean it’s funny and all but it’s a little depressing when you hink about how easy it is to manipulate and brainwash people. They bought every single bit of it. There’s a big chuck of the population that’s gonna have to deal with reality on January 20th. It’s going to be like a doomsday cult when the world doesn’t end.

I dont remember this part of 2016 as well, but I remember it being hard to find maga ppl to bet with. I dont remember as many betting on Trump. I think most assumed he would lose and would blame it on being g rigged so they didn’t bother. ~5 years being in a cult lost these people a ton of money.
even more if they sue and their lawyers aren’t stupid enough to not get some upfront
both sides online assumed landslide so we’re all in a cult, just happened to be the winning cult this go around.
On the other hand after the election was over we were like, “FUCK, THAT WAS CLOSER THAN EXPECTED, WE’RE SO SO SO SO SO FUCKED GOING FORWARD!”
and they were like
“WE WON RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!”

I genuinely don’t think this is true. If Biden was like 1.05 instead of 1.5, he would have had no money on his side. If Trump was 1.01 you would still have had people betting the farm on him.

So I guess that update about settling markets on 12/14 was just bullshit? Technically they said after 12/14. If it doesn’t happen tomorrow, it’s probably not happening until 1/6 at the earliest.

State markets are all closed now too. Not paid yet but closed.
They clearly can’t afford to pay both and probably can’t afford a big lawsuit (even though it will fail) and probably can’t afford to get chargebacks which trumpers are gonna do because they’re fucking shit.
