***Best Simpsons Episodes of All Time Draft***

Was deciding between 3 choices. Now I’m deciding between 2.

This is an amazing episode and would have been my pick if it made it to me. Al Brooks is an amazing talent, and the fact that Scorpio’s lines are almost entirely improvised is amazing. I love Castellanetta’s Homer improv in response

I figured either “Homer Goes to College” or “You Only Move Twice” were the fan favorites grue was talking about.

Another line I use way too often.

I’m a guy like me!

Homer pointing his knife at Bart and saying “You take that back!” after he tells Homer he’s hanging out with nerds.

Also, Marge’s “No, I want those geeks out of my house.” The patience of a saint, but even she has limits.

“Here you go. Sorry it’s not in packets. Want some cream?”
“Ehhhhh… No…”

Nobody ever says Italy

I’ve been so bored since we moved here, I found myself drinking a glass of wine every day. I know doctors say you should drink a glass and a half but I just can’t drink that much.

“Move” was the clear favorite IMO, so perfect, can’t believe it dropped to 10th or w/e. Its a bit “guest star centric” of course but many of the top ones are. To this day I can’t hear the word “hammock” without thinking of it/annoying the wife by saying the line.

Oh! The hammock district!

Move was my other option with Enemy

I watched them back to back and went with Enemy.

Both so good

Come on Homer, at Globex we don’t believe in walls. In fact, I never even gave you my coat!

Haha that was the only one I knew that I figured would get drafted, although props to fat homer. Both goat episodes

“Ever see a guy say goodbye to a shoe?”

“Yes… once.”

Taking 22 Short Films About Springfield

There are so many great characters in The Simpsons and most episodes focus on the main dozen with maybe one or two side characters showing up.

But this episode, loosely based on Pulp Fiction (with some nice homage scenes), features a ton of them.

A bunch of short vignettes cleverly transitioned into each other, with the most famous being the awesome Steamed Hams segment with Chalmers and Skinner.

“The house is on fire!”
“No mom, that’s just the Northern Lights”

You’ve got Millhouse saving the day in a Pulp Fiction scene:

After he fails to use the bathroom at the comic book store:

You’ve got a tall thin man getting revenge for everyone on Nelson:

And Apu getting in 4 hours of partying in 4 minutes:

A fun episode that reminds one of all the great side characters and a great addition to my Simpsons DVD

@grue is up

I’m going with season 6’s Treehouse of Horrors V

I think all early season treehouses are good but this one is the best.

The first segment is the classic “Shinning” parody.

So many good parts to this one, “No reading my mind between 4 and 5, that’s Willie’s time!” “Television! Teacher, mother, secret lover” and who hasn’t used “Urge to kill, rising”?

The second segment is hands down one of my favorite pieces of the simpsons:

Homer and his toaster go back in time, with hilarious consequences! A great 1 line cameo from James Earl Jones and a perfect punchline.

The third segment while not as strong is still pretty damn good, with Skinner and the school going cannibal on the kids

“Now to check on the free-range children!”
