Would you guys be surprised to learn that large retail and hospitality companies secured special provisions entitling them to sweet sweet government cheese that they otherwise would not qualify for?

Of course this is going to make the ACA website rollout look seamless in comparison. Of course no one will hold Trump accountable.

I wish I could show you guys some of these applications. I promise you there are some, uh, limited folks among the JOB CREATORS.

Well that’s because Wells Fargo was an organized criminal operation not too long ago, so they’re restricted in their activities. I bet they get a temporary, at least, lifting of the cap.

This is all going to get much worse. None of the stimulus is close to enough, and they can’t distribute it efficiently right now anyway. Businesses are gonna close

If “corporations” are just “people” what is the justification for not just sending money to “people”.

We have a similar situation in that our payroll has reduced by about 20% compared to last year. We have a couple of people who have been taking reduced salaries for a while so we probably will get them back to their normal salary.

But in the end we really may end up not able to spend the money we get and our thought at this point is that we will just pay that back right away and wait for the loan forgiveness for the remaining amount. Whether that will work is uncertain, but everything surrounding these loans are.

So my thought process was apply ASAP as 1) the online portals wouldn’t likely withstand the onslaught of folks applying all at once, and 2) the funds might get tapped by those in early. So even though Wells Fargo wasn’t able to process my application I applied through some other regional bank that was taking applications.

I’ve heard conflicting reports about businesses applying for PPP through banks they’ve never utilized, anyone know conclusively if this would be problematic?

Also, I’m assuming nobody has been paid yet on applications, right? I submitted Friday, received a confirmation email that it was received, then nothing.

I think that’s up to the individual banks. I know Chase says you have to be a current account holder. Pretty sure B of A as well. I know I’ve also read that they’re serving the businesses that owe them money first. Can’t blame them for that, I guess.

lol Chase updating on the fly

This is all just evidence of how important it was to Donald J. Trump that the people who need help get it as soon as possible because he’s such an amazing person. They could have waited months to roll it out perfectly, but this is almost perfect and no wait. Some say that’s even better!

The people should get the money next week, also coincidentally that’s when we’ll have about 25 billion tests and a trillion hydroxychloroquines. Make America Next Week Again! MANWA!

B of A is requiring you to have existing loans with them, not just being a customer.

This just hammers home the need for a real lefty news network to hammer away constantly at the incompetence. The Obamacare rollout was a god damn six sigma clinic compared to this.

Chase’s website is accepting applications now but

Chase is supposed to be the clear industry leader on IT / tech / etc. Banks!

Got my Chase application submitted. I don’t have any doubt about our eligibility, so as far as I’m concerned it’s now just a matter of when, not if, we get approved and get the money we need. I am a sweet summer child.

You ever figure this out? I haven’t filled anything out yet as I was trying to wait and find out more information. Hopefully waiting wasn’t a mistake. Shits just confusing.
