It’s probably actually good politics from Trump and Co. Dirty dems blocked the stimulus and Trump comes to the rescue! That is exactly why trotting over to the WH to negotiate every day was dumb as fuck by Chuck and Nancy.

I don’t think it will work. He can’t magically fund unemployment benefits and his payroll tax bullshit doesn’t do anything for the 30 million unemployed people.

I loved how the negotiations ended with Chuck and Nancy bending the knee to try and get a watered down deal only to be laughed out of the meeting and politically outmanuevered. Sums the Dems up perfectly.

This is not true. It’s all administered through the states, and he can’t just find $70b a month. That’s a fuck ton of money even for the US government.

70B/month is not going to be easy to find. He struggled to steal a few billion for his wall before Chuck and Nancy gave him money for it.
Fair enough but he can pull money appropriated for after the election even if it’s for essential stuff. If he loses the Dems will restore it anyway. If he wins he doesn’t care either way.
