He’s been on the circuit today and you’d be surprised at how hard he’s been pushing back saying he did the right thing. But Hayes got him to admit the stakes are not as high to him as they seem to be to us. It reframes everything about his thinking and may be used to force him to step down. He said ‘if’ we’re in a constitutional crisis. He doesn’t think we’re there when we obviously are. That’s amazing.

well, technically it’s not yet. Constitutional crisis requires some branch to be against another. Even the court system it’s still only sort of, things haven’t gone up to the scotus level yet.
Congress not doing it’s job isn’t a constitutional crisis, it’s a crisis of congress.

Bunch of the files still have to be redacted cause it’s not unsealed from grand juries yet so they’ll be fine.
They are running over everything including court decisions. This is the very definition.
Court stuff always get appeals and usually takes years. Only been a few months. They did take some back though. A lot of this is just rhetoric, there is no consensus on what a constitutional crisis is. Until they have exhausted all the courts (nothing has gone up to scotus yet) and those courts are told to shove it, technically they’re not there to me.

Don’t worry about that. Nobody ever really cared that much about eggs anyway. Get whatever you can out of it then move on to the next thing. Or better, have other egg-adjacent stuff going already and just shift to that. Throw crap at the wall like they do. Something will stick. It’s not that hard.

I’m all for cleaning house on the current Dem leadership, but I think he’s broadly correct here. Even if there’s a crisis now, it’s not the crisis. The only goal Democrats should be trying to accomplish right now is getting contestable elections in 2026 and 2028, then winning them.
