I’ll bet she splashes the pot every time.
One of the best parts of an actor having a long career is when they get to do one of these retrospectives.
He must have been like, ‘wow, I hope I’m not really like the characters I play’.
There was a really terrible sitcom called Bent on NBC that was a mid-season replacement. He was a shining star on it, but couldn’t do well enough to get me past 2 episodes. It was also the only time J.B. Smoove has been tolerable to me with his constant hamming it up (though I don’t remember why he didn’t bother me in this one). Probably didn’t make his retrospective.
Cynthia Erivo ready to throw hands when a fan assaults Ariana Grande.
Also everyone on that security detail needs to be fired.
This guy is the best spokesperson for art to maybe ever live.
The SAG Awards are changing their name. I guess it’s hitting too close to home for too many people.
We won a Grand Clio for one of the pieces we did for Sinners’ pre-release marketing. That’s pretty cool.
Why yes, I would like to cackle with laughter.
Paramount Skydance is whining that WBD is putting their thumb on the scale to shut them out and make Netflix the winner. How does it feel?
Netflix winning would be so bad for cinemas.
Part of their deal proposal is that they will still release all WB movies in theaters that would be.
No chance they honour this after the current slate is out. The guy hates theatres. Said it many times.
I know you think this in the land of Trump, but that will not fly at all if it’s attempted. Not at all. I don’t trust current WB leadership further than I can throw them, but there’s no way their legal department would let something like that slip under the radar without probably a $100 billion or some ridiculous penalty.
I’m sure Netflix will honor their contractual obligations rather than breach and pay extra just to really stick it to theaters, but yeah I can’t imagine they re-up once those obligations are fulfilled. Theaters and physical media will both take it in the shorts over the long term because Netflix is pretty ruthless about trying to funnel everything into streaming off of their service.
