Holy hell this Neil Gaiman stuff is so much worse than anyone ever imagined.
I’m having serious trouble with this one. It’s the first where one of my legitimate favorites has turned out to be truly irredeemable. I’m kind of sick over it.

Yeah, I just saw that. Netflix should have pulled it. They have a good track record of working with some bad people.
Season 2 was already in the can, as far as I know. Whether there had been more seasons planned is unclear. The writers (I think Gaiman had already stepped back from season 2 as it was, don’t think he’s even the showrunner anymore) released a statement that seems to imply they only planned two seasons.
That’s the entire premise of this thread, though, isn’t it, whether to separate art from artist. Though I consider TV adaptations to be less about the original author than about the directors and actors and designers doing the adapting.
I will probably watch because I really love the cast and to see what the writers chose to do with the remaining Morpheus material (probably just Season of Mists, Brief Lives, and The Kindly Ones, maybe Midsummer Night’s Dream as a one-off)

Trying not to spoil, but I’m honestly not sure how they’re going to end it without the subtle setup from the other arcs that aren’t as Morpheus-centric.

I am not here to say that Kevin Spacey is an angel or that he has never been creepy to anyone ever. I simply don’t know that. I am only here to say that comparing the guy to the most notorious fucking sex trafficker in recent history despite Spacey not being found liable ANYWHERE is just insane and wrong.
Everyone can have their opinions about the guy while acknowledging factual record and not making insane leaps by comparing to Epstein.
