Trump gonna sign executive order renaming these things to Old Hickory helicopters
Itās just racism on the face of it. āDEI Hireā means someone who wasnāt a white male was hired. Thatās it.
Of course. But itās wrapped in a digestible wrapper for dummies. The Dems need to do more of that for their positions.
I thought the āPresident Muskā stuff was the perfect combo of digestible, messageable, and a bonus of tweaking Trump, yet that lasted like 1 day for the Dems.
President Musk was good. Couch fucker was good. The weird thing was good. They abandon that stuff so fast to go back to their greatest hits which all suck.
president musk was good I donāt think it stuck with people though
weird was really cringe though
Brownback shit the bed so bad they went Democrat. The spell is probably about to wear off until the next Republican disaster.
AOC says this kind of thing all the time.
The plane would have TCAS. Wonder if the copter does?
These people are actually evil. Definitionally so.
I have a Trumper friend who canāt stand AOC. Thinks sheās stupid. Even she would have a hard time calling AOC an asshole.
thereās actually been a lot democrats going after him about the price of eggs
itās the same problem they had before, trump just sucks all the energy/attention that it doesnāt matter what they say general population will never hear it. Heck even most paying attention wonāt.
āEveryone is incompetentā and all women with power being āstupidā is the Oreo cookie tell of the Proud Boy.
Damn maybe Trump is at fault.
This video has a super helpful overlay with both the ATC audio and real time visuals. It looks like ATC gets a collision warning at 8:03 (in the youtube video). They then immediately ask the helicopter pilot if he has the CRJ in sight, and he confirms. But he is presumably seeing the wrong plane, the A319 further south.
So I dunno, it still seems to me it would be helpful to relay the collision warning in cases like this so the helicopter pilot knows heās looking at the wrong plane. But man, this stuff happens FAST.
My understanding is that TCAS resolution advisories are progressively inhibited the closer to the ground you are, and probably arenāt a thing under 500ā. Donāt quote me though.
I donāt know shit, but it really feels to me like there has to be a better system than letting military helicopters with antiquated collision avoidance systems fly through the same airspace as planes coming in for landing and taking off, with visual avoidance as the only plan. Maybe go the long way around or something?
