ACAB (formerly G Floyd) - Tyre Nichols video released, it's bad

Police are fucking hilarious. Look at that fencing.

The sign on the fence says “Caution Lasers in Use” - wtf does that mean?

lol you really do have your head in the sand

Right so if Chauvin knows that kneeling on a prone, handcuffed man is dangerous and could lead to death generally, but doesn’t think it is in this specific case because, I don’t know, he’s being careful or something, that’s murder. That’s what I’ve been saying.

They thought they grabbed the “caution tasers in use sign”, but pulled from the wrong sign bucket. Honest mistake.

I saw something yesterday saying the taser cop was doing field training for the new cop who was with her. Glad we have a cop training someone and she “doesn’t know” where her taser and gun are and how each feel

Nope, one of the pics is uptown Minneapolis which is a bar/restaurant/nightlife district full of mid 20s people and the other is about a half mile north of that area.

From the cop movies I’ve seen, the captain told everyone no surprises, 'cause the mayor is all over his ass.

Would’ve been GOAT if immediately after saying that he pegged a cop with it.

Conservatives: “that soup is a weapon! he brought a weapon to a protest, he should be arrested!”

Also conservatives: “it is totally fine that I brought this loaded fully automatic assault rifle to this protest, second amendment WOO!”

I believe there is a syndrome involving car accidents where they are made worse because the driver in the moment instead of braking slams on the accelerator. That syndrome could have happened here.

There are also statements being made that she wouldn’t have made that “mistake” if he was white.

So which it. Which of the above applies here?

I say BOTH do. The two statements are not mutually exclusive at the present time and that is an example of what needs fixing

If she’s racist she’s more likely to panic if the person is black.

He struck a cop with a hammer. If he wasn’t an old white guy they’d have at least tried to gun him down.

I agree, but I think that “constant state of fear” is like a low burning fire and racism is an accelerant that makes it way more likely that the situation explodes.
