They are a lot less culpable and the guy I honestly want to heap all the blame on just got got hard. Plea deals and them not being cops anymore is fine IMO.

If MN’s weird felony murder rule here somehow gets appealed and overturned would the third degree murder conviction be unaffected?

I mean a cop, especially one in a high profile case, being locked away with all the people he and his colleagues helped put behind bars has to be a fate worse than death.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets killed/kills himself before the inevitable appeal.
