The point of that post was to get a rise out of Wookie and me. Nothing more.
Churchill is not anti-vax and I think everyone, including people who have tried to make it look like he is, knows that. He does this kind of light, but consistent, anti-American trolling and I think it gets under some Americansâ skin. I can understand that. At some point in my life it would have gotten under mine too. But, fuck America. Troll away Churchill.

2 years ago yeah, at least by some. Like when trolly insisted to uninvite CN but Microbet and Jal said they disagree. After they are members of this community who contribute their time and interest to it (even if you disagree), no.
Thatâs the premise at least. Seems fairly consistent to me whether i agree or not.

I donât think he should be banned, but some one day bans? Iâve never protested that. Permaban? No. Heâs not posting horse porn, heâs not a Nazi, heâs been here the whole time and people shouldnât take it away from him.
And, if he werenât a perpetual target he wouldnât troll as much.

Iâm not getting involved in this anymore and I think that everyone would be best served trying to forget the grudges and move on but I did want to say that I regret whatever negative part I played in all this. In fact I pretty much always regret getting in spats with people here or elsewhere and nothing good ever comes from any of it.

If you actually followed through with 100% good faith posting, yes, I think youâd eventually get most people who currently want you banned to be fine posting with you.

Iâve been informed by my US friends here that kids can be over 18yrs (Maxwell) so have no idea what age range US âchildrenâ fall in to. Parents at my childrenâs school are amazed our 6-13 yr olds (3 of them) have had the vax (LDO, IMO) whereas theyâre awaiting further evidence (lol). We really are the outcasts in the UK, needing to defend our reasoning for taking that âriskâ.
Whether Iâll get the 2yr old jabbed is another question, should the UKHA sign off on it. I still believe, though would wanna check before someone storms in to instban me, that the UK has had one covid death related to under 5yrs throughout the pandemic. There might be more worthy candidates for that 1/3 dose⌠was my point.
Churchill, I am confident that everybody would be fine if you stopped trolling the Covid thread. Other posters in the thread would be happy and mods would instantly cease issuing temp-bans to you.

Yup. I forget what the exact numbers were but he has like ~25ish temp bans or mod actions in the COVID thread and like one on the rest of the site.
95% of the posters here trash the US, most daily. The part that I think gets under Americansâ skin is the implication that we are supporters of all the bad USA#1 stuff we hate and mock our country for.
Like USA#1 has probably been posted a thousand times on this site and been sarcastic 99.9% of the time. Only exception I could think of would be sports related.
No one here cares about people shitting on USA#1.
