Can we just vote on whether or not to ban him and move on to the next grievance?
I mean, Iām pretty sure youāve banned jman or goofy for rehashing e.g. jalfreziās ghetto blaster takes. What is rehashing old feuds vs. what is warning the community about a bad member? Should we just grant a license to them to follow jal around and āwarn the communityā about him?

Has Ikes/CN posted any abhorrent views since he has been here(I honestly donāt know but personally have not seen any. Maybe a lot I disagree with but nothing I would say makes his posting deplorable.)? Is it possible he has reformed his beliefs some? Iāve said many times I had horrific political beliefs 15 years ago. Maybe my sins make me unredeemable as well?
Is it possible Ikes from 5+ years ago should not be welcome here but current day Ikes should be? I mean he wasnāt exactly banging minors, handicapped women and talking troubled people into killing themslves.

I never read the 2p2 politics forum 5+ years ago, but it sounds like a user has some terrible views 5-10 years ago, now seems to have changed some of those views (or doesnāt publicly espouse them) and we need a referendum on whether or not we should be constantly reminding others what this person said 5-10 years ago?!

You advocate for sowing a lot of discord for the vague benefit of a people that might not even exist in this tiny community. I donāt think itās worth it. You are blowing this way oit of proportion. He isnāt a pedophile predator that other people have a legitimate interest in being warned about.

This has come up before. Since youāre in the mood for chattinā about it again - bringing it up voluntarily all unprompted and all - would you care to post that PM? I ask because thereās been quite some contention over its contents and the specific reactions various people had to it. It might be useful to get as much of it on the public record as possible. That way itās not all this you-said-Chads-said stuff.
We want this to be a place where grievances from 10+ years ago, done by people largely in their late teens and early 20s are litigated forever? Really? If this place lasts the next 5,10+ years are you really going to be bringing stuff up from 2p2 thatās then 20+ years old when itās not relevant?

Lol at the time spent arguing on whether or not a poster who has improved his posting from 10 fucking years ago and who also wasnāt banned then for bad posting but should be banned now because of that posting.
Folks here are too entrenched in arguing the bottom 10% of what they feel is wrong with this place when they should be enjoying themselves with a pretty damn good community.
I can start reeking havoc for you guys if you desperately need something to complain about.
