The upside could be that this finally seals the fate of the FDP. They where like an opposition within the government from the beginning. While all other FDP ministers left after Lindner was fired, the transport minister stayed and left the FDP instead lol.

AFD was the strongest party in my district at the “Europawahl 2024” and I’m arguing with fucking right-wingers on the internet every day (working from home is great!), so I feel pretty gloomy.

lol there is no article in English yet but Zeit und Süddeutsche report that the FDP planned the coalition break-up for weeks. I predict they’re out the next go-around. :queen_amused:

We can only hope so. Our biggest yellow press called Bild has a mission of promoting this party so I hope they stay below 5%.
