All I saw at first was the circling buffer thingy. So it was more like waiting for the disaster than the actual downfall of US. Felt like a more accurate metaphor for my current frame of mind. But not a good joke. Here it is again.

For your joke to really play it would need to buffer when it’s obvious it’s gonna crash but hasn’t yet.

The other day I heard someone say that the recent birthright citizenship case was going to become the new Roe (i.e. the SCOTUS decision that drives “vote Red no matter who” behavior for the next few decades combined with various challenges that chip away at it before they finally get enough judicial support to completely overrule it) and I definitely couldn’t dismiss the prediction.
I have thought that myself the last week and felt that it was too obvious to even mention.
Off to watch the flyover.
