This may be right or wrong, but you’re putting too much faith in this kind of scientific literature.
I don’t know what this means. The faith I’m putting is it exists and uses the annual pornhub data as evidence of the claims in the paper. I have not read all three papers I cited, just the first one.
They are peer reviewed and use the pornhub data as a source clearly refuting the claim its made up click bait

It absolutely could be clickbait trash. Clickbait trash gets published all the time after peer review. I’m not going to look into this specifically because I couldn’t care less about the topic, but it is def possible it’s still bullshit

I got a swimming ear plug get stuck in my ear. My wife was able to get it out with tweezers. Seems like a ridiculous design that it was even possible.

Doesn’t apply to everything. IE - Euro/American kids might be taking a gap year backpacking through Central America, but no Guatemalan kids are bumming around Europe for a summer. Doesn’t matter how cheap life is in Guatemala, they just can’t afford it.
Applies within the US too. Housing and incomes are commensurately higher in California than the Midwest. But a lot of stuff like groceries, entertainment, and travel cost basically the same to a Californian as a Midwesterner. So they feel a lot cheaper to the person from the high income area.
