You absolutely do not want to even look at Lincoln at the wrong time of day.
LA has a lot of stuff and the beach areas are nice and there are some nice parks and living here it’s cool that you can go to the beach or the mountains really easily, but it has lots of bad stuff…mostly concrete, asphalt and cars. Central Valley isn’t so great either. But the coastline, mountains, forests, and deserts (if you’re into that) are stellar. As far as cities go, SF and the whole bay area are extremely beautiful with the hills, bridges and the bay.

My father, who lives in Cleveland, tells me that in recent years it barely snows anymore up there and it’s not really that cold anymore either, whereas when I was a kid I distinctly remember November snowfalls and miserable, miserable snowstorms in Jan & Feb.
TIL that square dancing classes I took as a part of Phys Ed in PA were due to an anti-semitic conspiracy theory.

Going to Cedar Point with family this summer, 30 or so people. Pretty hyped.

What don’t you like about Japan? I’m assuming it’s not super easy for foreigners to adapt/fit in but that is just me speculating.
