I think Kamala will benefit from low expectations. The right will run with their DEI racist nonsense and even the left has her pinned as like a Xanax mom or something. She’s pretty damn smart and good at politics when she cares.
If Biden stays on ticket I would love to see him win the electoral college and lose the national vote by five points. Best possible outcome

I have this vague hope that Kamala will stop trying to be some inspirational Michelle Obama type and instead lean into the prosecutor persona and will be a much more electable person with that personality, if not nice at least tough and competent which would be a great contrast to Trump. But then I think “when have I ever seen that before?” I’ve just read puff pieces saying she’s more natural in that role and am wish casting charisma onto her because of the stakes.
I can totally see her in a debate with Trump actually attacking him and just calling him a liar, a felon, too old, a moron, etc, and him losing his shit and dropping an N bomb. Which I’m sure his base would love, but would be an awful look for normies.
I actually think Trump will refuse to debate her, calling her Biden’s puppet or something like that, in an effort to continue to run against Biden, discredit/delegitimize her, and avoid any high-variance outcomes.

That would be the correct thing to do, but I think it would torment ol Donny T to be called a coward for refusing to face a woman of color.

It’s acceptable to occasionally pick up the NYPost and read it on the train. I used to do that myself on occasion before Smartphones. But reading the Post on the internet or following it on Twitter is indicative of severe mental illness.

Well if the advertising is working so well in Michigan why aren’t they spending more in PA? Or is that leaning so far to Trump it’s not one of their swing states?
I think of Schiff as very much an establishment/party-line guy and am surprised to hear him equivocate.

Whatever the dems decide to do, Schiff and Pelosi are both correct in insisting on both take a cognitive test.
If Biden is out, this could flip all of the age concerns onto Trump.
