May daughter’s voter registration page has gone from completely blank field to having her basic information filled in! Finally! Voter status is “pending” because she’s not 18 yet. Progress!

He broke down early voting trends in PA compared to last election. His conclusion:
"I’m not going to wrap this in a tidy package and say what we’re seeing is indicative of a win for one candidate or another. We can’t do that. I will say I expected to see more of a partisan gap closing with Republicans spending more resources on converting early voters.
“While Republicans have converted a number of election day voters to vote early, Democratic turnout, especially among voters of color, has negated those potential gains for the Trump campaign. Stay tuned, more states to come.”

The only thing wilder than unskewing the polls is going to be unskewing early vote models that are relying almost entirely on 2020 data.
(That being said, if you’re telling me that the early vote is looking good for Harris in PA, I will inject that -ish straight into my jugular)

Little sketchy that they are reporting the racial breakdown of early voters - that data is not even part of the registration process! Little skeptical of their analysis here.

nice post spidercrab; fwiw my understanding is still that the most important segment is the set of low propensity voters who dependably agree with the democrats but essentially never vote. So as you say this isn’t zero sum, but the easiest / cheapest / most durable way to win is to mint new voters and lengthen the line
