It’s possible. They’ve been trying this for months. Right now there are seemingly enough GOP holdouts to keep them short of the total they’d need to override a filibuster. But obviously those dominoes could fall.

Very little research leads me to believe it’s possible for Nebraska, but not Maine. Maine, as I understand, would need a majority of Republicans in the legislature to agree to the special session necessary, while Dems of Nebraska will just be helpless. There are a couple Republicans in Nebraska who have not gone along as yet, and those are the people Lindsey is there to see.
It’s just unreal how weak and unprincipled Lindsey is. As a character in a movie he’d be hard to believe.
