I donāt know about that, that time he was making stuff up about giant apes or whatever and an actual expert who was a woman dialed in and told him everything he just said was wrong, he got very mean spirited very fast. Anyone can appear to be nice if all you ever see is them interacting with fawning adorers. The real test is when someone pushes back on him, and the absolute sexist indignation when a woman dared to challenge him kind of tells you all you really need to know.

I mean, not great obviously if the election were today. But the poll progress over a couple of weeks is really as good or better than we possibly could have expected, and itās just a sign that there needs to be continued enthusiasm, a convention bump that sticks, etc. But we pretty much all knew that.
Yeah I agree, the race is in decent shape. Youād rather be in her spot than his at this point.

The national number was Harris +1. Weird that CBS publishes these without making it really clear that they didnāt take individual state polls.

Iād go beyond āweirdā and call that āterribleā, both in reporting and methodology.
Literally nothing matters in the presidential race except those 7 states and NE-02. National polls should be so much more infrequent than they are.

Unless demographics massively shifted in 2 years (possible due to CA movers), NV is blueeeee. The governor being elected as a Republican is a fluke because of how poorly the Dem governor handled Covid and inflation. Bringing several major sports franchises also caused the Dem governor to lose because of how much inflation that brought.
