This doesnāt sound bad really. But, I expected it to be a competition between almost no one being willing to vote for an atheist and really almost no one being willing to vote for a socialist, but was surprised at the numbers.
60% said they would vote for an atheist and 45% said they would vote for a socialist. Considering 40% of people are Republicans, and I donāt imagine many Republicans would vote for a self-proclaimed socialist, thatās a lot of the rest.

Itās probably closer to 20-25% of people are self-identified Republican now. I think it was 25% in 2020.

No POTUS has been openly more than āDiestā or just quietly not religious, but those were back in the day when you could get away with that. You canāt now. But, Trump is probably the most likely atheist of modern times.

Most Christians dont really deep down think that god actually exists. They just identify with the group and what it represents to them.
Hillary especially is religious.

Just to be clear you understand that being Jewish or a Jew can mean an ethnicity/culture and really imply nothing about religion? You could be a Jew and be Buddhist or, sigh, even Christian. Iām Jewish and an atheist.
Not that I disagree about supposedly religious people actually not believing deep down.
