A handful of weird Dem-ish goons jumping in and being a laughing stock while momentum builds behind Harris in a positive way seems better than absolutely no discussion or room for discussion of the nominee, right? Seems like Harris would come out of this more legitimateāshe even seemed to gesture towards this process with her statement.
The risk is a seriously divided convention, but I guess I just donāt see that happening?

Disagree. If he was stepping down as President I would want a speech, but dropping out of the race the way it unfolded this is fine.

I think this is exactly why Biden released us and endorsed Kamala, and she used the words āearnā and āwin the nomā in her first statement.
Let Manchin and crystal lady run, by all means. It will just be proof that the process isnāt rigged, etc and when Harris wins the nomination 3898-2, it will signal to Dems that we are united and gonna rally around her.
