I understand. Ramp down of FF isn’t going to happen here. Canadians get more angry and mobilized by the threat of bike lanes than the threat of climate change. We are getting catastrophic climate change 100%.

And there is a fair amount of pumped hydro already working in the opposite direction from solar (pumping at night and drawing during the day). It’s been around for generations and used to smooth power production/use for utilities.
This is right. The average new home in the USA is 2500sq ft. Average new home size has doubled since the 60s and average family size is down 30%.
Probably the best hope for decreasing use of FFs is declining population, which is coming (one way or the other).

I really love making posts on here and then seeing guys like Trump saying much the same thing right after. Really makes me feel good about myself lol.
I can say that I did get polled once by Gallup in 96. I actually went and looked up the microdata a few years ago and found my response in IPOLL. I reviewed all my answers lol to make sure that young mee was on the right track. I did ok iirc.

2.8% warming is considerably better than 3.1% warming.
Doomerism on CC is different from the same on Trump.

This is true and it does transition to charging on solar when the grid has enough of it
It’s not at the scale required or even close as it stands though, and the economics don’t always work, especially with batteries eating their lunch.
