If it’s gotv texting just tell them you already voted. That will stop the texts, provides info to the campaign, and technically frees up resources that can be used to go after people who havent yet voted.
If someone had told me you were the dude who lives in that house, I’d have had no problem believing it.

Was trying to get people to attend a rally supporting a ballot initiative. Chanced it with a witty yet inspiring response and received positive feedback. I may now belong to the county democrat committee.

My east coast swing state barnstorming tour has brought me to North Carolina, but I am in Durham which feels more staunchly blue than Los Angeles.
Yesterday I learned that Durham, which I almost always hear as the backend of the hyphenated Raleigh-Durham, is actually like 25 miles from Raleigh. That’s way too far and that hyphen is a scam.

On the road here from the north the route to Raleigh splits off 40+ miles away from Durham, which did surprise me and supports your contention.
