If they are punting this season, no reason not to see what DTR can do. Likely nothing, but at worst that just helps you get a better pick.

Didn’t they see last year during the stretches Deshaun was injured? Feel like there wasn’t anything remotely there but I could be misremembering.
He got a bit of playing time and didn’t look great, but also not completely terrible for a rookie QB.
