Huntley sucks, but it’s nice to see a QB run and not have to worry about him dying.
31 carries today suggests they are fully supportive of chasing the record.
They also have the Giants next week, so he could easily break it by halftime.
Breaking it in a meaningless 17th game feels like it shouldn’t count.

I guess you could argue that Dickerson’s record is enshrined, in a way, but, even better, we should just refer to them as the “16-game rushing record” and “17-game rushing record.”

I don’t think you realize how bad the Dolphins are.
Seems dumb for them to attempt it. They’ve got 2 banged up QBs and everyone knows where the ball is going to go. It would be one thing if it were a game where winning mattered, but in a meaningless game it seems like a terrible idea.
If they were some sort of hopeless team like the Texans, I’d even understand that. Texans are never shipping it ever. Might as well pursue the record. Eagles have SB equity which goes to zero if Saquon tears his ACL.

As a Giants fan, I hope he has 1 carry for -6 yards and tweaks his ankle on the first play of the game. I’m not a monster though. He’ll make a full recovery and run for 150 yards in the first playoff game. But he’ll finish the season with 1.999 yards rushing.

Hard to put myself in your shoes, but if I’m a Giants fan, I find it hard to hate Saquon. He gave you his best years and the Giants wasted them.
Did he force his way out or did the Giants just not want to pay him?
