In the spirit of whisky-soaked, loose associations:
My brother used to work in pricing at an airline and accidentally zeroed out the prices of a flight once.
I’ve used Amex’s extended warranty benefit a few times. Once I contacted them because the remote for a Roku tv broke. I asked for the replacement price of the remote, but they went ahead a refunded the entire tv.
Andromeda will be extremely close by (relatively) soon
It has been widely accepted that this video effectively ended Billy Squier’s career
If that is true, then why didn’t this video end Hall & Oates careers?
Is it just me or is Trump’s new AI policy advisor, Sriram Krishnan, an extremely weird looking dude?
The thing that jumps out at me the most is that the vertical height of his head (from chin to top of scalp) seems very long compared to the horizontal width.
LOL, has Trump ever been in the same room as him?
Seems to be so much of this sort of stuff this holiday season. I had an online order double delivered. They had no interest in me returning one of them. A friend had a pretty expensive product delivered with a slightly wrong variation and the company just sent the right one and did not want the original back. I wanted a new travel case for my golf clubs and found the one I wanted to buy brand new in box for half price on Facebook marketplace. Asked the guy why he was selling and he said he ordered it and they sent the wrong color and when he complained they just sent a second one and didn’t want the first one back.
This is all since September.
Geez I work with a guy who has similar features but this guy’s are like 200% exaggerated. The guy I work with is both a great professional and a great person BTW.
That’s because they just write it off…
Well of course he’s not going to tell you it’s stolen.
Not saying it’s impossible but it’s a really large item for the monetary value. It’s not the type of thing that would make sense to shoplift and not an ideal target for a porch pirate either.
My dad ordered a couch online and same thing happened. He ended up with two couches. Shipping it back was not worth it for them.
The ashes of 12-year-old Chris Edwards are buried on the grounds of a Pine County camp, where his mother insisted his memorial service be held after his HIV-related death in 1999.
It’s one of the reasons former campers are saddened by the news that One Heartland in Willow River, Minn., about 40 minutes southwest of Duluth, is for sale. The 80-acre site is home to a camp that has served kids living with or affected by HIV/AIDS for more than 30 years. But the number of babies contracting the virus through their mothers has declined to the point where such a camp no longer needs to exist.
“It’s a heartbreaker,” said Chris’ brother, Dylan Edwards, who attended the camp with Chris for years.
“But the purpose of the camp was for sick kids,” he said, and if there are so few that a camp isn’t feasible, “it’s hard to feel bad about that.”
I ordered and paid for a 14” frying pan and received two
Got a single 14" pan delivered on Monday. Now feeling like I was ripped off. At least they didn’t give you mine.
