Taking comfort in small victories, the House just voted down HR 9495, which would have allowed the federal government to revoke tax-exempt status from those non-profit organizations they deem to be terrorist supporters.
[Easy to imagine how quickly this would have been applied against Ivy League universities during the clown show hearings over campus protests.]

Saw a MAGA hat at the gym for the first time since the early Trump days. They’re getting bolder. They should look into MAGA arm bands.

I didn’t say that. I said first hat in eight years. They disappeared around the time of the access Hollywood tape and the violence at the rallies.

I’ve definitely noticed that people who might have been otherwise shy about being Trumpers, now happily declaring their love of him.

Torrance. Probably 50% Latino, 25% white, 25% other. Average age 30-35. 2.5 to 1 males to females. Owner is my ex-trainer, big Trumper. I suspect most of the staff and customers are also Trumpers.
The owner doubled his membership when he illegally was the first to open back up during covid. So he got all the young/invincible/vaxx-skeptic/rogan-bro/etc. crowd that used to go to UFC Gym.
Yeah, MAGA is a bit of a minority in the South Bay, but not that out of the ordinary and probably a majority of gym bros. I was glad to find that people weren’t talking about politics at the gym.
Still no MAGA hats in the little Japanese village where I live. I’ll keep you updated though, as my 90-year-old neighbor has always been a bit suspect.

It was a mama with two cubs. One of the cubs got separated and ended up in a tree on campus, then in a dumpster across the street. They cordoned off the area hoping that the mama would return and take the stray cub back with her into the hills. Not sure if that happened, will find out at drop-off this AM.
I’ve seen like 3-4 MAGA hats in my neighborhood over the last 8 years. Last time was some old dude in a wheelchair at Kroger.
Time to call the experts.
