My asshole dog woke me up early, and now I’m cleansing my palate with the Election Day episode of The West Wing. Still top tier stuff.
My wife was out and she reports that the lines to vote are far longer than in any other election since we’ve been here.
The key to life is low expectations, but I can’t fake my gut. I think Kamala and Sherrod ship it, and I think we know by 2 am.

Has Trump done any “unfriendly” interviews this cycle? A la Harris going on Fox News? Maybe the black journalist conference, but I’m sure he wasn’t expected to be questioned like he was.
On the sports radio station this morning, they were have a discussion about McAfee supposedly turning down interviews with both candidates, and it morphed into the MAGA host saying how he sees all he needs to in how the candidates approach interview, with “one candidate willing to talk to anybody, for hours, he’ll answer any question that’s asked of him” and the other candidate “is closed, only goes for soft landing interviews, doesn’t want to address what she’ll do for America”. These people are delusional.

There is a national trend where people are retreating into their own camps and less likely to cross party lines and split their ticket. Manchin’s margins in WV have been decreasing with every election, and one speculated reason for his retirement is that he knew that winds have shifted to the point that even he could not win as a dem in WV.
