Like, how do you combat that. Sure you as democrats can say “we would never change the definition of pedophiles” but by the time that reaponse hits the airwaves, 10000 podcasts have been posted with titles like “Democrats want to reclassify the definiton of pedophile” and Joe Rogan has had Matt Walsh on and broadcast to millions that thats what the dems want to do.

I have no idea if it’s a good or feasible idea. I just don’t see how doing the exact same thing going forward is correct. I’m trying to think of a different strategy.

Biden was definitely the favorite to be more demented, but Bernie is also very old. I’d probably have made Biden a 2:1 favorite circa early 2020. But I’ve lost plenty of times as a 2:1 favorite. It’s nowhere near a lock.

Was Biden out there talking about transgender rights all the time?

The pressure on that comes mostly from people who aren’t even politicians, but since they are considered ‘liberal’ or ‘leftist’ the reactionaries will attribute it to the Democratic party. And it’s hard to believe anyone really is bothered that much by 5 athletes in women’s sports and all that. They just want someone to stand up and say it’s an abomination. And if it weren’t transgender rights, it’d be something else. If the reactionaries are wilding, the Democrats are going to lose no matter what they say.

I’m trying to think of ideas for the national left. Is your suggestion they message social issues exactly as they have been going forward? No change at all needed?

I don’t really have a suggestion for the messaging for the Dems. I’m afraid the most popular message in the US right now would be something like a National Socialist American Workers Party and I don’t want them to go there if you get my drift.

1. Abolition of unearned (work and labour) incomes. Breaking of rent-slavery.

2. We demand the creation of a healthy middle class and its conservation, immediate communalization of the great warehouses and their being leased at low cost to small firms, the utmost consideration of all small firms in contracts with the State, county or municipality.

3. We demand a division of profits of all heavy industries.

4. We demand an expansion on a large scale of old age welfare.

That’s part of it. You just have to make sure it’s only for real Americans.
