2024 Election POST MORTEM

Eh, you’re never going to have a big Perry Mason moment where Rogan breaks down and admits the libs were right about something. Also, fact and logic are cringe lib stuff. What you should do is schmaltz him, smoke a joint with him, win him over that way.

I love you and i only want good things for you and i only think good things of you. It was just funny to me for a moment to imagine the democratic party literally from top to bottom staffed and run by people who are absolutely delusional. but i’m glad to learn that that’s not the case, and that we’re in safe hands moving forward

Sorry for jumping in like a big dumb oaf. I"m vulnerable to this kind of stuff because I want to believe in people so much.

Remember when Gene Simmons got obliterated by Terry Gross? That was a deglazing for the ages. However, the one thing that Simmons said that I think is undeniable was, and I’m paraphrasing, “Life’s too short to not be delusional.”

Kamala could have just walked on Rogan’s set, grabbed him by the dick and told him that Trump was going to take all his porn away - and have better results than doing nothing.

she would have won if she does that

Smoking a blunt with Joe wouldn’t have hurt either. Worked for Elon.

As if it wasn’t hard enough getting laid jfc /s. For real though this is understandable - it’s been extraordinarily uncomfortable being a white male the last few days. I don’t know how much this would catch on, but I strongly believe that the male loneliness epidemic is fueling a lot of whatever is going on right now, stuff like this will just further play into incel victimhood and right wing misogynist narratives.

Extremely relevant

This was a terrible own goal by dems. Hanging out w the Cheneys…jfc :person_facepalming:
Tell all the Cheneys to fuck off, and lean into leftist policies of the government really actually helping regular people.
Bernie’s always been right.

It’s really difficult to beat Washington Generals accusations

Seems obvious, dunnit :person_shrugging:

But instead, she’ll wear a KN95 and social distance herself while everyone else social distances themselves from the libs.

I’m old and married, so this is irrelevant to me. But if I were a young, single dude, I wouldn’t sweat this. It’s not like guys are the only ones who want to bang. Women like sex too.

It has not been uncomfortable as a white male these last few days. Wtf are you taking about? Please go back to your other site

Anybody on the “Bernie would’ve won” bandwagon care to explain how Bernie would’ve won despite Bernie getting fewer votes than Kamala in Vermont? I am but a stupid ignorant asshole, but it would seem to me that if adopting Bernie’s policies instead of Kamala’s were a sufficient condition to win, he’d run at least 6 percentage points ahead of her in the votes in Vermont, where people love his policies. In reality, Bernie was almost a full point behind her.

First of all, the difference is 5k votes. Incredibly negligible. Basically even.

And the answer is, Bernie and Bernie policies are maxed out in Vermont. He would get more in other spots

Pretty easy to understand

I think there are two possible reasons - Bernie would have run a better campaign. Harris started strong, but sort of faded. I think Bernie would have had a clearer message and a better answer/ability to distance himself from the issues people saw with Biden.

Second, Bernie does better with some of the primary groups that defected/didn’t show up for Harris - the working class and young men. Bernie would have done things like go on Rogan and likely gotten his endorsement again, which I think did matter to the young male voters. I think Bernie’s message also is also better in terms of keeping union/working class support.

Yeah, I know this. It doesn’t seem like you realize this undercuts your whole thesis.

Harris fared a full 3 percentage points better in the states where she campaigned heavily compared with states where she didn’t. Bernie fared no better in a state where he campaigned more than she did.
