Who the fuck is going to take this?
Yeah that’s a big no for me. Now if the offer was 1 Super Bowl win, but in turn I would have 10 losing seasons in a row…
I don’t know, I’m thinking about it. 5 would be a snap yes.
I remember being angry and depressed about losing in the playoffs every year under Marty, then wishing I had that back again instead of Romeo Crennel quiet quitting halfway through the season.
If I could turn back time and not have the Seahawks recover the necessary onside kick to beat the Packers in the NFCCG in 2014, I would take that option.
Staunchly disagree here. That NFCCG was so elating, on top of having just won one, that the Super Bowl was house money. Sad we lost, sure, but it felt amazing to be there again.
The third one is the helmet-touchdown?
Yes. That was brutal. Though if it spelled the end of Dennis Erickson in favor of Mike Holmgren, we may have been better off.
I doubt we’ll ever agree on this then. It’s hard to escape the conclusion that the soul-crushing manner in which we lost that SB continued to be a corrosive impact on the franchise for seasons to follow. And the would-be good memory of that NFCCG is haunted by what it led us to.
And I also disagree with you on having had SteelerRef Bowl vs. not. Compared with the disappointments of the 1 seed Sonics losing to fucking Denver or 116 win Mariners not even making the championships to compete for a title, at least the Seahawks could say they had the honor of making it there.
Fat Mike being denied his comeuppance for that terrible coaching job would be a tragedy.

Oh I had the losing in the playoffs every year under Marvin Lewis.
Making 1 Super Bowl and losing under Zac Taylor has been a more enjoyable tenure than Marvin. But losing 4 Super Bowls in a row has people talking about that forever.

Those Lewis teams almost always had the dumbest play imaginable precipitate the loss.
Fucking Vontaze Burfict. I never liked him. I knew it was just a matter of time until something happened like that fucking Steelers game
Rihanna was terrible. She was pregnant so I will give her a pass. Usher performance is top 5. Dudes rolling around on skates at one point.
Not sure about y’all but I prefer my singers to be able to actually
You know
Be able to sing.
Now if the offer was 1 Super Bowl win, but in turn I would have 10 losing seasons in a row…
Easy yes.
Signed,
Giants fans
He gassed. Being out so long had to hurt his game condition
that’s… kinda blatant isn’t it?
it’s not really, if you follow the Superbowl standard. Lineman wasn’t beat, in fact did a very good job moving and got Bosa centered on his body. The outstretched arms may have hindered Bosa, but at no time was he grabbed by the hands.
As a long time Bengals fan, in a heartbeat. Thrilled with the Joe Burrow era so far.
The thing is, you don’t get to be the two absolutely worst garbage dumpster franchises with reputations for violently choking by doing stuff like getting to the Super Bowl.
If there is one thing you can say about this years playoffs its that the Niners played some exciting fucking games. For pure entertainment value all 3 games were A+ and its hard to ask for much more than that out of your teams playoff run.
Bork showed he’s a young kid with a ton of flaws, but hes improving each game. He was able to come back from a small and then very large deficit, and he was 1 unblocked blitzer away from winning the super bowl in his first full season. He was able to help the team bounce back from 3 straight losses in the middle of the season after losing his best offensive weapon and the best Oline player in the game. They could have very easily pulled a Jacksonville at that point and instead only lost one game after that stretch (fuck you, LA, you dont count.)
CMC is so fun to watch every game, so knowing we have him for two more years, including another entire year with cheapo Purdy and outside of Jennings and Young no real serious free agent threat in the offseason, and an NFC that is just… fucking terrible outside of a scary Detroit team and an improving LA team with a lot of cash (sorry LKJ, but I think Seattle has at least 1 more year of rebuilding though they may sneak in next year) there is no reason to think they cant get 12 or 13 wins again next year, and CMC has a very valid chance to pull in MVP.
Obviously Im hopeful. A team losing in OT of the super bowl with no serious free agent threats in the offseason is A-ok to me, and I think they will be back next year odds on to win it all again.
So long as FUCKING SOMEBODY takes out the Chiefs. ANYBODY, jfc AFC have some goddamn pride.
Knock knock
