My take that Andy Reid would be considered the best coach of all time if he had Tom Brady for a quarterback is starting to look better and better.

To be clear I said that before he won a Super Bowl and Alex smith was still his quarterback

Well his current QB is easily better than Bardy, so I guess he should get that title soon enough.

Racists win again

Maybe not. All of MAGA is on the 9ers, and a dude who is drawing live for biggest racist in that stadium probably plays for the 9ers.

Has Kelce always been a cry baby? Imagine if a black player pushed his head coach.

apparently the nickelodeon broadcast was the one to watch.

Wat

Really? Mahomes has a better arm, is far better escaping pressure and is a better runner. As far as accuracy and stepping up in big games it is more or less a wash.

What is Brady significantly better than Mahomes at?

Not a lot of discussion about how long the clock was allowed to run on the last play? Seems like a fuckup where nobody was watching. Would be the biggest LOL ANDY REID of all time if he had just let time expire with like three downs left.

Andy Reid seems like the quintessential “amazing at all the stuff we don’t see” coach. His game day executive decisionmaking has improved and is way out of the FAT MIKE zone, but it’s still a bit rough at times.

It would have gone to a 2nd overtime.

Yeah, more or less what suzzer said. OT rules are different for the SB. It would just go to the second quarter of OT. They just switch ends and keep on playing.

Game only ends after each has completed one possession and not tied or there is a defensive score.

As KC would not have completed their first possession, the game would have continued into the second quarter of OT.

Oh, interesting, thanks. The commentators we have (there’s this weird arrangement where we get US commentators but they are only commentating the game for Aus and NZ) did not know this.

The question is, would it have gone to a second OT in the regular season if the second team hadn’t finished their first possession yet and were behind by 3? I think so but I’ve never seen it play out like that.

There might be more to it than that. I’m not 100% sure about this, but the timing rules are like starting a new game, so if the 9ers first possession took an entire 15 min and then the Chefs possession took another 14:55, then there would be 5s left, but in that scenario it is like half-time of a real game, so if the clock runs out at the end of the second period of overtime, then just like at the end of a half, their possession is over and they lose on the spot.

This is really just theoretical as there is no way two possessions are going to take 30 min of game time, but I think that is how it would work.
