That is very fucking unintuitive that I need to click the “Continue to cancel” button and not that it has already been cancelled and is telling me how many days I have left. I didn’t even notice “until the next billing cycle” before I posted this.

Yeah this shit is so anti-consumer. Subscription services need to be regulated
yeah notice how the “26 days left” is highlighted in blue but the “continue to cancel” button is the same color as all the other buttons. they are counting on the user seeing “26 days left” and assuming it means 26 days left to enjoy your subscription before the cancellation takes effect. another example of evil corporations doing evil shit.

i have two neighbors in their 30’s, the rest are old.
i just watched one rev his harley down the street and back, only to have the other one come outside and turn on his car stereo, roll down the windows and play music (prob two 12” speakers) loudly. then i got to sit here and watch them argue about who is bothering who.
for the record, my dog only barked at the car stereo lol.

I won’t bash Amazon too much on cancellation as they have automatically given me pro rated refunds in the past when I canceled prime.
That is a fucked up story, idk if it’s been discussed on here? It seems like she did it deliberately.

You can put a rug on top of any of the various non-carpet flooring options.
Non carpet flooring is much easier to clean than carpet flooring.
As one who just replaced a lot of carpet with non carpet, I can attest. Carpet sucks to keep clean, especially if people actually walk on it.

I definitely find that the less hair I have the easier it is to shampoo.
She claims to have bought the dried mushrooms from an Asian grocer but not know which one as they’ve been sitting in her pantry for months. Also she disposed of a dehydrator at the local dump and lied to police about when she did so. She said her ex accused her of using it to poison the guests and she “panicked” and dumped it and lied and said she’d dumped it much earlier. Personally if it were me and I were innocent I’d be like “here it is, please test the shit out of it” but hey.
Also, maybe you don’t know this aspect of it, but per a family friend, the dinner at her place was a mediation attempt, with her ex’s relatives there plus a pastor, as they were “concerned about her mental health” and wanted to discuss things with her before she got back together with her ex. Ex was supposed to be there but pulled out at last minute. Also according to an anonymous source she is an experienced mushroom forager. Obviously everything in this paragraph is to be taken with the usual media “source close to the events” grain of salt. The first paragraph is all solid (sourced from her statement to police).
