I try not to have stuff like this in the house but the alleged hurricane that’s about to hit just south of Tijuana where i live is a good excuse.

Well it beats being diverted to Sacramento for 3 days.
Where I live near the beach won’t flood too bad. That stuff happens inland. Our water just drains into the ocean. I just need to get home. Some parts right by LAX do get flooded.
On the plus side, between this and the heavy snow winter we had, our reservoirs might get back to normal.
Aren’t you a single dude who works from home? Can’t you just chill in Europe for another week? How bad would that really be?
It would be very very expensive.

Paris might be worth looking at price wise, mainly because it’s largely closed in August and most tourists know this.

Simultaneous earthquake and hurricane!
Preliminary 5.0 near Ojai.
Seek shelter before it peaks and you have a moderate downpour for an hour or two.
Kids out playing in it here.
OK that changes things. Never a good time for an earthquake I guess but this seems like a super bad one. Seems like an area that might have flooding.
This is like 1/10th of a Costa Rica downpour at the moment. Just passed a dude jogging. But there are some flooded parts of the street.
