Dammit my brother-in-law shared that song. Ugh.
Also, I refuse to listen to it.

This is the power of right wing populism. The conservative faux populists get their base worked into a frenzy about the exact things the conservative faux populists are in favor of, and then they vote for you and not against you! It would be funny if it didnât result in ethnofascism and genocide every time.
Imagine writing a protest song in favor of weight based food stamps. That this guy can actually hold a tune makes it even sadder.
Saw this today. Translation: owners are too cheap to hire enough workers to run the restaurant properly.
Sorry for the odd crop. Someone was standing in front of part of the sign.
Everyone else is raising wages and then prices. Seems like his employees will quit soon for different jobs.
Iâve seen signs like that all over town for months now.
Actually if you donât want people buying bad food on ebt you need to raise the amount people get by about twenty fold so people could afford healthy food.
Free article for a nice FAFO situation.
Itâs just another Astroturfed campaign like the sound of freedom.
How do people fall for this stuff every time?
Todayâs twitter debate Part 1:
Part 2:
Million dollar question - is there any difference between the 2 scenarios?
There is no difference. Why did people get tricked?
Itâs so easy to spot conservative Astro turning though. They are all confused until they get a unified message to go with, usually from fox or Trump. Thatâs why when you see something like barbie come out and conservatives say it will fail for being woke itâs funny because they usually fail when they attempt to establish a narrative.
Itâs nice when an entirely speculative hot take you had over a decade ago gets somewhat validated.
Who do you think is getting tricked? The payoff matrix is the same, but the situations are very different. In the first scenario, most people will vote blue, so you should also vote blue, while in the second most people will not go into the death room, so you should also not go into the death room.
They want to fall for it.
red pill never dies, so you should not vote blue. its the same scenario in both questions.
Voting blue is the equivalent of going in to the death blender room. Voting red is the equivalent to not going in. For some reason as framed, the questions lead you to choosing blue pill and not go in. That was my initial choice as well, before realizing they were complete opposites of each other.
The abstraction that is telling you that these two questions are the same is unsound. Having seen the results, I donât regret either of my votes, and I would regret having chosen the opposite. Red pills are the ones getting tricked here (just like in the Matrix*). You cowardly voted to save your own skin at the expense of others when you could have been part of the Team Blue lifesavers.
*Donât @ me, Morpheus was a terrorist, the machines were the good guys, the movie is a bleak Le Carre-esque story about Cypherâs conflicted but noble decision to betray his friends for the cause of good.
