OC is infinitely more annoying than Santa Monica or Beverly Hills. The Palisades are truly awful, if you aren’t instantly embarrassed for our society while there something is wrong with you.
Try it out and you’ll find the difference.
One big one is retention: we have good social science research showing that you will remember a lot more reading paper books. Another big one is having the books arranged in physical space. You’ll never get those wistful glances over at the bookshelf while you have morning coffee with a digital collection. This is like the book equivalent of shower thoughts. They can be very helpful!
e-books are amazing for searching, for sure. But I can get a copy of whatever I need in a few seconds, so I don’t collect ebooks.

Unfortunately our crazy laws and results for malpractice focus on actual damages and not potential damages. So if no real damages happened, there are not real repercussions.
“That doctor could have killed me” is going to net nothing in terms of a malpractice suit.
Now AQ may eventually be able to show damages and if then might have a case, but without proving damages it is not going anywhere.
I have been told medical malpractice is incredibly fact specific so they only way to determine if it is a valid path is to consult with a properly trained attorney.

Do you have neighbours that live in the same building, on say the eighteenth floor that live in a eighteen flight walkup? does the walkup expire where you camp or does it not matter in terms of walkup if you don’t hike up further than where you reside?
I’d say it has to be this one.
It would be weird to say you lived in “an eight flight walkup” if you only went up one flight of stairs to your second floor apartment.
